Last weekend the Leeds JLD hosted their annual ball at The Met Hotel in Leeds. The evening was enjoyed by over 150 guests from law firms across Leeds, who were greeted with a drinks reception, followed by a three course meal and then live music from Rolling Keys, followed by a DJ. We had a horror themed Photo Booth (kindly sponsored by Clarion Solicitors) as well as a photographer for the evening, a sweet stall (all treats – no tricks!), and magician and mind-reader, Amazing Anthony.
There was also a charity raffle, with prizes including an iPad, a spa break and champagne afternoon tea. We are pleased to announce that, thanks to our guests generosity, the raffle raised £1,110 for our charity of the year, Zarach! We were fortunate enough to be joined on the evening by representatives from Zarach who gave a heartwarming and inspiring speech to our guests about what they do as a charity and the important difference they make to children's lives across Leeds.
