Hi! I’m Jess.

 

I am a Trainee Solicitor at Progeny Law and Tax and the Publicity Officer for LJLD 2025.

 

I have quite a bit of experience (8 years!?) in the legal sector, starting my career in an admin team, to Paralegal, to Trainee Solicitor, and now on track to qualify in Autumn 2025. I also have broad experience in different legal areas, personal injury, regulatory – professional misconduct, financial regulation, corporate and commercial, and currently sitting in private client.

 

I first moved to Leeds in 2021, just before starting my new paralegal role here. I did not know anyone but knew there must be a junior lawyers division from my time spent with the Manchester equivalent. I went to my first event the first week I moved here and met people I am friends with to this day. So, it’s a great way to meet people socially, but also professionally – FELT is a great area and has helped me a lot over this past year.

 

I look forward to meeting many more of you and bringing my contribution to LJLD!
